WaterISAC’s Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Water and Wastewater Utilities isn’t meant to be just “another” guidance document. Likewise, it’s not intended to be all-encompassing. The 2024 updates are designed to be a cohesive reference bringing some of the best recommendations, current guidance, and PRACTICAL steps for water and wastewater utilities to bolster cyber resilience.

Join us on June 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET for our monthly Cyber Resilience Briefing when members will get another sneak peek of WaterISAC’s refreshed Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Water and Wastewater Utilities for the Q2 release. But there’s more… Not only are we previewing the three Fundamentals for Q2, but we have another exciting release you don’t want to miss. Through the benefit of our world-renowned Champion, the SANS Institute, members will get the first look at another water and wastewater specific white paper, Protecting Critical Water Systems with the Five ICS Cybersecurity Critical Controls.

Jennifer Lyn Walker, WaterISAC’s Director of Infrastructure Cyber Defense will premiere the second set of three fundamentals that will be released to the public on June 28, 2024. Additionally, Jen will be joined by Dean Parsons, SANS Certified Instructor (and certified geek) and author of the white paper. Dean and Jen will join forces to provide practical actions and guidance for any size water or wastewater utility to bolster cyber resilience.
