Jennifer Lyn Walker, WaterISAC’s Director of Infrastructure Cyber Defense will premiere the second set of three fundamentals that will be released to the public on June 28, 2024. Additionally, Jen will be joined by Dean Parsons, SANS Certified Instructor (and certified geek) and author of the white paper. Dean and Jen will join forces to provide practical actions and guidance for any size water or wastewater utility to bolster cyber resilience.
About Dean Parsons: A SANS Certified Instructor, Dean Parsons teaches ICS515: ICS Visibility, Detection, and Response and is a co-author of the new SANS Course ICS418: ICS Security Essentials for Managers. Dean is the CEO and Principal Consultant of ICS Defense Force and brings over 20 years of technical and management experience to the classroom. He has worked in both Information Technology and Industrial Control System (ICS) Cyber Defense in critical infrastructure sectors such as telecommunications, electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and oil & gas refineries, storage, and distribution.
