The Joint Counterterrorism Assessment Team (JCAT), comprised of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), DHS, and the FBI, just released a "Terrorism Prevention" trifold pamphlet to aid organizations in stopping violent extremists from radicalizing, inspiring, or recruiting individuals towards the point of mobilizing to commit acts of violence. Terrorism prevention requires a whole-of-society approach and collaboration among Federal, state, local, and nongovernmental stakeholders. Towards that end, this pamphlet provides guidance for organizations to be able to identify potential radicalization risk factors among their workforce and offers protective factors that can help prevent an individual from engaging in violent extremism. The document also includes information on contacting Federal partners and other resources that are available to assist critical infrastructure owners and operators. Access the pamphlet below.
